By default, if you didn't change any thing, you should use 8000 port, so please ensure configuration of apps and your APP_URL use correct URL.

In Facebook case, I didn't use homestead so I am not sure. I only use http://localhost:8000

Secdonly, Google in development mode also support localhost.
